What is URSafe?

URSafe is an internal employee safety and mileage tracking application used by Vernon & District Association for Community Living. The app helps ensure staff safety while working in the field and allows accurate mileage tracking.

Why does URSafe collect location data?

Location data is used exclusively for:

  • Employee safety monitoring during active work shifts
  • Emergency support if assistance is required
  • Mileage tracking and reimbursement calculations
  • Trip status visibility for authorized managers

When is location tracking active?

Location tracking is active only when an employee manually starts a work shift inside the app. Tracking stops immediately when the shift ends.

Does URSafe track employees all the time?

No. URSafe does not track users outside active work shifts. Employees have full control to start and stop tracking.

Who can access location data?

Location data is accessible only to authorized management and administrative personnel for safety and operational purposes.

Is location data shared with third parties?

No. URSafe does not sell or share location data with third parties. Data is used strictly for internal organizational purposes.

How long is data stored?

Location and mileage records are stored according to organizational retention policies and may be removed when no longer required.

How can I stop location tracking?

You can stop location tracking anytime by ending your active shift within the app.
