Social Enterprise

As a social enterprise we give individuals with disabilities the chance to engage in meaningful, skill-enhancing activities that promote personal growth and community involvement. This program offers a variety of vocational and therapeutic workshops, including woodworking, Cycle Cycle, e-waste recycling, food preparation, housekeeping duties, and yard maintenance.

Through these workshops, participants develop practical skills, foster independence, and contribute positively to their communities. The hands-on experiences and guided instruction help individuals build self-confidence, learn real-world tasks, and prepare for greater autonomy in their daily lives. Additionally, the program encourages teamwork and social interaction, creating a supportive environment where participants can build meaningful relationships.

Program Highlights

Woodworking

Participants are provided with vocational and skill enhancement training through the production of lath, survey stakes and dunnage.

Cycle Cycle

In partnership with Vernon RCMP, participants assist in retrieving stolen bicycles in and around the Vernon area. Bikes are either returned to owners, stripped for parts or refurbished and sold.

Predator Ridge Crew

Participants perform housekeeping duties for the hotel and cabins.

E-waste Recycle

Participants work at a designated collection site for the public to dispose of recyclables such as electronic items no longer required and are considered “End of Life.”

Yard Crew

We do landscaping, snow removal, parking lot maintenance, leaf removal and disposal.

The Place

Participants prepare lunches for about 220+ children in School District No 22’s elementary schools by assisting in all aspects, from shopping and preparation to food delivery.
