Financial Donations

Our fundraising efforts have now turned to necessary upgrades to our Aspen House group home. While this is a new facility for us, it is an older home that requires the installation of a fire sprinkler system and renovations to make it more autism friendly. These upgrades are not covered by our regular government funding so we are actively seeking foundation grants and donations from the public.

Our secure, non-profit donation system allows you to make a donation using your credit card. You will automatically receive a charitable donation receipt by e-mail for income tax purposes. Please click on the Donate button below to make a financial donation. We thank you for your support!

We would like to thank the Hamber Foundation for their grant of $2,000 that will be used to purchase two therapeutic swings.

Our 15th Annual Celebration of Trees and Art Auction set records for attendance and revenue. Thank you everyone! We have decided to use the money raised to increase recreational activities in our programs to improve fitness and quality of life of our participants.

We have received Beach Radio's Community Airtime Award for $35,000 in advertising. This award is also sponsored by Lake City Casino and Hytec - a Kohler Company.

The Kalmalka Rotary Club recently donated $39,000 to Venture Training from the proceeds of their 2017 Dream Auction. The Community Foundation of the North Okanagan recently donated $7,500 as part of their 2018 Smart & Caring Community Grant program. These two grants have allowed us to purchase a new wheel-chair accessible van.

The City of Vernon recently donated $2,500 from the Council Discretionary Fund. This funding will be used for security improvements at one of our facilities.

A BIG THANK YOU to individuals who donate whatever amount they can through our online donation system!

Donation of Silent Auction Items

Our major fundraising event entering it's fifteenth year is the Celebration of Trees, which typically takes place on the last Thursday of November. It is always a good time for community supporters, participants and their families to come together to celebrate the season. We enjoy a delicious buffet dinner while unique art pieces and themed Christmas trees are auctioned. We also have a very lively silent auction as guests Christmas shop and jostle to get their bids down on the items they desire. We accept donated items from businesses and individuals year-round for the silent auction. Please contact us if you are interested in donating an item. We thank you for your support!
